We have 8 pressed back chairs that have been in my family for 4 generations, and our daughter decided she would love to use them at the head table for her wedding.  The only problem with the chairs is that the finish sometimes gets tacky and it could be a problem at an outdoor wedding. Although I have actually refinished a few pieces of furniture myself, it is a messy job that has to be done right – not a job I relished taking on right now. Cost can vary widely however and the first quotes I received made me gasp!

Fortunately, I came across Lloyd.  His prices are very reasonable considering the effort involved. He experimented with stain colour until he got it right and then proceeded to have the chairs finished in under 2 weeks. (This was especially appreciated since we didn’t have a lot of other chairs to sit on!)  I also appreciated the level of communication by email whenever Lloyd had a question or an update on the status.  The chairs were in good shape but they are now in great shape and I am so pleased to have had them refinished.  We will definitely use Lloyd’s Refinishing again for other projects and don’t hesitate to recommend his work to others.
