This project was bought at a yard sale and needed lots of tender loving care; to the extent that we did not know if it would even be worth the trouble. To begin with, multiple coats of old paint were laboriously stripped off.
Next the project was hand sanded, stained with Jacobean Minwax stain and finished with three coats of semigloss urethane. This has now been restored to its original condition and has been enjoyed by the Grandchildren of the family for the past few years.
